Mr. Corn, Bioagra’s company mascot, has once again appeared on the facade of the cogeneration building at the “Goświnowice” Ethanol Production Plant. This time, he’s here to remind us of the upcoming Valentine’s Day, bringing with him a maximum dose of positive energy.

The approaching Valentine’s Day, celebrated on February 14th, is a perfect opportunity to pause for a moment in the rush of everyday life and send warm thoughts to our loved ones. At Bioagra, it has become a tradition to mark important dates in the calendar with spectacular illuminations that light up the surroundings and delight the eyes of residents and drivers traveling along the nearby Nysa bypass.

A Heart Full of Positive Energy

The Valentine’s illumination traditionally adorns the cogeneration system building. This is an installation where we innovatively produce both thermal and electrical energy in a single process. Cogeneration yields more energy overall compared to separate heat and electricity production, as it offers higher energy efficiency — the installation can achieve up to 90% efficiency. Compared to traditional energy production methods, it is a far more effective solution. It minimizes heat losses from the energy production process that are, for example, released into the environment in conventional power plants.
