Bioagra supports integration at “September Country”
A unique event for people with disabilities and their carers, the outdoor event “Wrześniowe Country”, once again gathered nearly a 1 000 participants.
The event, which is being held for the 12th time, has an extraordinary character. It brings together people with disabilities, preschoolers and volunteers in the spirit of fun and mutual support.
This year’s edition of the outdoor event “September Country”, organized by the Day Care Facility for the Disabled Caritas of the Opole Diocese in Nysa, was an opportunity to integrate the disabled community and the local community. The event was attended by approximately 1,000 participants, including residents of dozens of care centers, students from Nysa kindergartens and numerous volunteers from local educational institutions.
The organization of the event was once again supported by Bioagra, which provided flour and oil to prepare thousands of pierogi, which are the culinary hallmark of the event. The event was attended by Mr. Corn, the company’s mascot, who entertained the participants, posed for photos and took part in games and fun.
“September Country” offered a wide entertainment program. The attractions included singing and dancing, competitions with prizes and fun activities. The event, held every year, unites the local community, but also builds awareness of the available forms of support for people with disabilities in the Nysa region.
Bioagra’s involvement in organizing this event highlights the importance of partnerships between local companies and organizations working for social integration. Thanks to initiatives such as “September Country”, people with disabilities can feel like full members of society, enjoying shared fun and support from the local community.
