The first box of heart-shaped chocolates was launched in 1861.

More than 36 million boxes of heart-shaped chocolates are sold each year. The first was created by Richard Cadbury, who began packing chocolates into fancy boxes to increase sales.

New Year 2022 – illumination

For several years, Bioagra has been illuminating the Ethanol Production Plant with occasional illuminations addressed to the local community and people traveling by the Nysa bypass.

This year, the company placed New Year’s greetings on the cogeneration building and on the electronic boards of the new logistics system, which reduced the volume of vehicle traffic around the company.

Mr. Corn is waving from the building where electricity and useful heat are produced for the plant in the so-called cogeneration plant. It is an extremely economical and ecological way of generating energy.

In the classic solution, electricity and heat are generated separately in the power plant and heating plant. Cogeneration is the production of both of these types of energy in the same process. This allows achieving a 30 percent higher efficiency and translates into significant economic and environmental benefits.

Christmas greetings from Bioagra

As every year, Mr. Kukurydza wishes Happy Holidays to drivers passing by the Ethanol Production Plant. This year, we placed the Christmas greetings on the electronic boards of the new logistics system, which reduced the volume of vehicle traffic around the company.

For several years, Bioagra has illuminated the Ethanol Production Plant with occasional illuminations, greeting the local community and travelers by the Nysa bypass. On behalf of the company, Christmas wishes come from Mr. Kukurydza, who this year also appeared on the information boards of the new logistics system.

– This is our proprietary solution that improved the movement of vehicles around the company, as requested by the local community – said Mirosław Obarski of Bioagra SA. – The queues of vehicles with grain, which lined up during the maize harvest on the access road to the plant, have practically disappeared.

The new logistics system has also significantly improved the working conditions of drivers and farmers delivering maize for production. The investment in the system included the creation of an extensive IT part that controls vehicle traffic and a number of infrastructure modifications. For example, an additional entrance to the plant was opened, a section of the road was added and the parking lot for trucks was modified. The total cost of the solution totals to over PLN 5 million.

The improvement of the process of receiving grain and receiving finished products was introduced despite numerous difficulties resulting from the next year of the company’s operation in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr. Kukurydza is training with young players from LKS Goświnowice

LKS Goświnowice is a sports club with great traditions, the history of which dates back to 1947. In the 2016/17 season, thanks to the efforts of a few enthusiasts, former officials and footballers, it was reactivated after a break that lasted for a decade. Since then, the club has continued its activities, an important element of which is promoting the idea of practicing sports and developing the talents of the youngest footballers.

The activity of the reactivated LKS Goświnowice club is one of the local initiatives in which Bioagra is involved. The company focuses on supporting his youngest pupils and providing them with conditions to develop their football passion. The help provided by the company covers the cost of purchasing clothes, shoes and sports equipment, employing a trainer, renting a training room, commuting to matches and many more.

Each season, the club recruits youngsters and invites both boys and girls. Currently, the classes are attended by 28 people born between 2007 and 2012. Training takes place in accordance with the guidelines of the Academy of Young Eagles and is conducted in groups corresponding to the age of the children. They include a range of exercises to help improve fitness and polish your soccer skills, for example, in terms of:
– techniques, incl. accepting, passing and playing the ball,
– endurance – strengthening the muscles of the legs, arms and the whole body,
– tactics – correct positioning on the pitch, while playing as well as defensive and offensive formations,
– speed and agility – increasing the overall performance of players on the pitch.

Older children (born 2007-2010) form a team that participates in the II Provincial Trampkarze League. The current table of the autumn rounds is available on the website of the Opole Football Association. In addition to regular training and participation in competitions, the Trampkarze team also participates in sparring matches.
Next year, the LKS Goświnowice club plans to create two teams: Trampkarze (born 2008-2011) and Youth (born 2010-2012).

In Goświnowice, an adventure with football can be started even by very young children, but at this age it should take the form of pure, general development fun. With time, you can combine fun with simple elements of technical training. These types of sports activities primarily help shape the sense of balance and motor coordination. Training typically focused on football usually begins around the age of 11. This is when children learn the best movements and learn new behaviors. Properly conducted training brings many benefits both in the physical and psychological areas. They strengthen the body and improve the condition, but at the same time shape young characters and teach that you need to work together to win the team.

Youth soccer is one of the few amateur sports that Bioagra supports. The company also supports young tennis adepts, a group of children perfecting their chess skills and more.

Bioagra and Nysa’s Grand Slam

Young tennis players supported by Bioagra finished the games from the Nysa’s Grand Slam series. It was the third edition of the event that allows children and teenagers to take their first steps in tournament competition.

A total of 138 competitors took part in this edition. They represented Nysa, Wrocław, Opole, Duszniki-Zdrój, Kłodzko, Pruszków, and even cities from England.

The event consisted of children-level equivalents of the largest tennis events in the world: Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. The first tournament took place in May 2021, and the last one in September this year. Participants were divided into 6 groups depending on age and level of advancement, and all matches were conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Tennis Association. At the end of the series, Joanna Burska, Vice Starost of the District, presented the winners with cups, commemorative medals and diplomas. After each tournament, young tennis players were also handed gifts funded, among others, by Bioagra.
